New Hire Checklist

Starting a new job is stressful.

Our hope is that starting this one is not!

 

See below for a list of all the things you can start working on now to prepare for your first day.


One

Within 1 week of you signing your offer letter, you should receive an email from BambooHR containing “Onboarding Tasks” that should be completed before your first day. These tasks include:

  • Initiate your Background Check via Sterling

  • Input all personal information into BambooHR (SSN, DOB, Address, etc.)

  • Fill out W4 form (federal taxes)

TWO
In the week before your start date, you will receive an email from Sterling, asking you to fill out the Employee section of your I-9 Employment Eligibility form.

NOTE:
During your first week, make sure to read and sign the following:

  • Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct (note: due to the file size of the Employee Handbook, it may glitch on some devices. We have seen best results when using Google Chrome on a laptop/desktop computer rather than a mobile device.)

  • Expense Policy

  • Acceptable Use Policy

  • Employee Privacy Notice

  • PIIA (Proprietary Information, Inventions, and Arbitration Agreement)

  • Privacy and Information Security Policies and Sign the Confidentiality Agreement
